Review of 2007 ozumo

The year of 2007 belonged to two Yokozuna-ranked sumo wrestlers (rikishi). In 2007, the annual six Grand Tournaments’ championships were occupied by them only. On the other hand, there appeared young hopefuls who began to threaten them one after another. Therefore, a number of exciting dramatic competitions among two Yokozunas, experienced rikishi and young hopefuls is expected to be seen in 2008. Probably the year of 2008 will be an epoch-making year for the long history of Ozumo. This book interestingly introduces the recent status of the two Yokozunas,朝青龍(Asa-Sho-Ryu) and 白鵬（Haku-Hou）and promising young sumo wresters who will compete with them.
